Silence

Do you ever notice how everytime there is silence even for just one second someone will mention it just to fill up the silence? My quetion to you is why? Why is silence so hard for people to deal with? Is it because it gives us time to truly think about how are lives are going or what we're doing? Or does it give us time to think about all the stufff we regret not doing or doing? Maybe people dont like silence because even a second of it gives us a second to think about the people we've become or maybe that second we realize is a second of our lives wasted when we could have been doing something wothwhile and meaningful. But what was the last thing you actually did in your life that was worthwhile or meaningful? If you can't think of anything maybe its because you forget that somethings that seem like everyday things to you or something really small that you can barely remember like maybe you gave a smile to someone when you walking down the street today or you said hello to someone in the halls today you dont normally say hello to. These things may not seem meaningful or worthwhile to you but to someone else that could of brightened there bad day or just made a huge world of difference that you may never know about but without it who knows how that other persons day could have turned out. Somethings may not be huge to you but they are to others so keep smile cause you never know whos day you've just brighten.
